Disappointing

  : Smooth check in, the rooms were basic but very clean and one up from a premier inn. The check-in staff made sure my daughter and I had rooms next to each other. The downstairs had a good bar/lounge and seating so had a nice feel to it. The hotel was right by Manchester Piccadilly station, which is why we had chosen it, so just a few minutes walk away.
  : The thing that up-ended our stay was that the hotel became a mad house at night. It is right by clubs etc so I stupidly hadn’t factored in that people staying there would be going to the clubs as it was a Friday night. Consequently, while we wanted to have a good night’s sleep because we had an early train to catch to Nottingham, we were woken through the night by people shouting, squealing, laughing loudly in the corridor and then at 5.30am both my daughter and I could hear someone being very vocal with their vomiting in the bathroom above which carried on for the next couple of hours at regular intervals.

  : The staff were worst we’ve ever encountered. Lacked basic understanding of pretty much everything and got steadily more and more rude as our visit went on.
